I have voted in every election that I have been eligible to, except for one local election. I also canvassed for Beto's campaign this last fall.

I am taking this class because I am interested in government and, though it is required for my major, I want to have basic knowledge of all levels of our government. I think that it is important to understand how our government is structured and how it actually operates.

I don't know much at all about State and local government, but I won't have to say that after this class!
